My mother was Maria (Fitapelli) Ratel born on Mott Street in Manhattan she passed away 13 years ago if she was still alive she would be 79 years old. Her father was Louis Fitapelli. My Uncle Joe (her brother) lives in MiddleVillage Queens, New York and told me about this web site. They had other brothers and sisters; Louis, John, Helen, Lee, Margaret, Catherine. I am really enjoying this web site - I called my Brother Michael in Florida and my sister Debbie in New Jersey to let them know about this web site . I love the old pictures - one of the gentlemen looks like an older version of my brother Michael and another one of them could pass for my Uncle Joe.
